Free healthcare access application for people with HIV/AIDS

The Uninsured Care Programs provide access to free health care (Drugs, Outpatient Primary Care, Home Care, Insurance Premium Payments, and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis to prevent HIV infection) for New York State residents who are uninsured or underinsured. The Uninsured Care Programs are committed to working closely with providers and individuals to support access to the wide range of options for payment for health care services and medications for persons living with or at risk of acquiring HIV/AIDS.

Guidance on Applying for WIC for Families with Children

Information on how to apply for WIC. The WIC program provides support with accessing food, nutrition education, and resources for expecting parents and caregivers. Government ID required.

Health Insurance Enrollment Assistance

Free or inexpensive public health insurance is available for those meeting financial eligibility requirements. Call 1-855-355-5777 to enroll directly or call the Medicaid Helpline (800) 541-2831 for assistance. Free enrollment assistance through city - call 311 or text CoveredNYC (SeguroNYC en Español) to 877877. For assistance enrolling through a local community-based organization: call (888) 614-5400 or email enroll@cssny.org. All NYC Health + Hospitals centers will provide healthcare regardless of insurance coverage, and can help with insurance enrollment: call 1-844-NYC-4NYC.
