AHRCNYC

Message from 8/11/25: To Whom It May Concern. My name is Darinka Vlahek, and I am reaching out on behalf of AHRC New York City, a nonprofit organization that supports over 5,000 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the NYC metropolitan area. We are seeking a meaningful partnership with an organization that can donate food on an ongoing basis, which our dedicated teams of volunteers would deliver to community fridges and food pantries in neighborhoods facing food insecurity. Many of the people we support have been actively giving back to their communities by volunteering with food programs across all five boroughs. This effort not only uplifts our neighbors in need but also empowers individuals with disabilities to participate fully in civic life—demonstrating the incredible value of inclusion, compassion, and service. We would be honored to explore how we can work together to expand your impact while supporting our mission of fostering dignity, belonging, and purpose for all. Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a difference together. I would be happy to connect at your convenience to discuss the possibilities. AHRCNYC advocates for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead full and equitable lives.
