Community Health Access to Addiction & Mental Healthcare Project (CHAMP)

Call the CHAMP live-answer Helpline for free and confidential assistance accessing mental health and substance use disorder care. Monday-Friday 9am-4pm. Supports multiple languages and all insurance types (including uninsured folks). CHAMP assistance includes help finding a mental health or substance use disorder provider, appealing an insurer’s denial of care, and understanding your rights to mental health and substance use disorder care. CHAMP is a partnership among specialist organizations, community based organizations, and the New York State Offices of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) and Mental Health.
