Modest Needs

Modest Needs is a tax-exempt charity where you can make small, emergency grants to low-income workers who're at risk of slipping into poverty and for whom no other source of immediate help is available.

Self-Sufficiency Grants

Emergency grant funding to assist individuals and families who, because they are working and live just above the poverty level, are ineligible for most types of conventional social assistance. Grants are typically between $750 and $1250. Grants come through donors to the national non-profit charity organization Modest Needs.
