Safe Homes Project - Domestic Violence Programs
24-Hour Hotline 718-499-2151 Good Shepherd Services’ Safe Homes Project provides an array of free services, which include a hotline, counseling, safety-planning, as well as a 20-bed shelter for survivors and their children. It also provides targeted services for special populations, including Spanish-speakers, youth, and LGBTQ survivors of partner violence. All services are offered in both English and Spanish.
Social Service Support at Community Benefits Assistance Centers - Brownsville
Walk-in Tuesdays: 10am-3:30pm or call the office. Community Benefits Assistance (CBA) provides individuals and families with hands-on assistance in applying for public benefits. At our centers, we offer easy access to public services in one place, connecting people to the resources to attain higher education, jobs, and financial stability, legal counseling, help with financial planning, immigration services and referrals to other community-based organizations, as needed.
