Description
Queens Community House (QCH) is a multi-site, multi-service settlement house that serves the diverse neighborhoods of Queens. We serve residents of all ages, races, faiths, and ethnicities while supporting the viability of the borough as a whole.

Affordable locally-grown produce in Queens
A Food Box Program offering weekly boxed collections of locally grown produce that can be purchased affordably. See website for information on Community Garden, Food Justice programs, and Quarterly Potlucks!
Generation Q, at Queens Community House
An after-school youth center for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth and allies, between the ages of 13 and 21. They offer a wide variety of educational and recreational opportunities, as well as social and emotional support. Open Tuesday through Friday 3-7pm.
Housing and Homelessness Prevention
Tenants can call 718-592-5757 ext. 243, email skhan@qchnyc.org, or email mmoore@qchnyc.org to access housing counseling and tenants rights workshops and receive help with applying for rental subsidies, negotiating lease renewals, and obtaining apartment unit repairs. Low-income individuals and families who at risk of eviction can access: household risk assessment, application assistance, access to government benefits, budget counseling and advocacy, including referrals to Food Access, Health Care, Public Assistance, legal and other supportive services to help people remain housed and stable.
