CIDNY is a nonprofit organization founded in 1978. We are part of the Independent Living Centers movement: a national network of grassroots and community-based organizations that enhance opportunities for all people with disabilities to direct their own lives.

Free Benefits Counseling for People with Disabilities

Call 1-844-862-7930 to reach counselors available 9 am until 5 pm, Monday through Friday. You can also request to be contacted by a counselor by filling out the form at https://www.cidny.org/getnyconnects Support includes SNAP, Unemployment Insurance, Social Security, Medicaid, etc. for people with disabilities and older adults; help getting connected with various resources including food, toiletries, mental health, etc.
